Max Pacioretty (born November 20, 1988) is an American professional ice hockey player currently playing for the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League (NHL). He Max Pacioretty was called up from the American Hockey League (AHL) for the second time on December 12, 2010.[1] He was drafted 22nd overall in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft by the Montreal Canadiens.

Max Pacioretty high school hockey at New Canaan High School during his freshman year, and then moved on to The Taft School in Watertown, Connecticut. He signed a three-year contract with the Canadiens on July 17, 2008, thus forgoing his remaining eligibility at the University of Michigan.

Pacioretty made his NHL debut with the Montreal Canadiens on January 2, 2009, scoring his first NHL goal on Max Pacioretty his first NHL shot in a 4-1 loss against the New Jersey Devils.Max Pacioretty is the first player in franchise history to wear the jersey #67.

On March 8th 2011, Max Pacioretty sustained an injury following a push by Zdeno Chara which resulted Pacioretty coming in contact with the stanchion at the end of the bench. He was taken off ice on a stretcher after laying inconscious on the ice for several minutes. Max Pacioretty is recovering.
